We're a little late getting out this month's newsletter, but better late than never, right? We're so glad everyone's still loving being part of QVegas Business Alliance. We heard so many great things from our February event attendees about the venues and awesome guest speaker Angela R. Harvey. This month, we're continuing to grow!

Our luncheon tomorrow (Tuesday) features special guest speaker Paul Chamberlain, an iPhone app designer from CerebralItch.com. The venue is a delicious new spot at The Shoppes at The Palazzo called First Food & Bar, located on the second floor, above Walgreens.
Thursday night's social is at a fun little joint called Liquidity inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino. Both events are open to the public, so please invite and bring all your colleagues and friends! Special giveaways will be available for QBA members at the luncheon, and complimentary signature cocktails will be served to all attendees at the evening social (21+ only). See you there!

AID FOR AIDS OF NEVADA
AID for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) hosts the 20th Annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas at the World Market Center at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 25. The famous duo, Penn & Teller, serves as Grand Marshals and will host the Penn & Teller Challenge as their AIDS Walk team. Hosting the event for the second consecutive year is KLAS Ch. 8 Eyewitness News anchor Chris Saldana. The AIDS Walk serves as AFAN’s largest fundraiser of the year, providing funds for programs to assist and educate more than 3,000 men, women and children infected with HIV and AIDS in southern Nevada. Participants may register as individuals, join an existing team, or start their own team. Participants’ fundraising efforts will make them eligible for dynamic incentives and prizes. In addition, the Penn & Teller Challenge promises to match all monetary funds raised by pledges and donations to AFAN. This challenge raised more than $120,000 in 2009. Registration is free, but a minimum donation of $35 per person is encouraged and includes an official AIDS Walk Las Vegas t-shirt. • www.afanlv.org
